the state of sharing or exchanging thoughts and feelings; the feeling of being part of something

An evening of niche microtalks, rants, and activities for game developers to come together to feel something.

📅 Friday 2 October, 2026 at 6pm at St Matthew-in-the-City.

Since NZGDC is back in Auckland, we thought we'd run a weirder, shorter event to complement the conference. And... we're partnering with Aggro Crab to make this strange, wonderful event happen. Thank you Aggro Crab for bankrolling this event !!!

Wireframe Presents: Communion will take place on the evening of Friday 2 October, 2026 at St Matthews-in-the-City, an active Anglican church with an inclusive community and a kaupapa of respect. People from all walks of life are welcome and are celebrated in their community, including people of all gender identities, sexualities, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.
